  • “Hallen” - when he shall go and be ashamed or stay away from the table. Normally used if he was to quick and took some food from the kids.

Food

  • Amount:

    • Fill the bowl so the bottom is covered

  • When?

    • Morning, Noon and Evening.

  • Can he eat human food scraps?

    • Yes. But not in excess.

    • No raisins, grapes, or chocolate (poison for dogs)

    • No bones from chicken or pork, they can turn into needles in the stomach.

    • He gets to pre-dish some plates before they go into the dishwasher sometimes.

Play

  • He loves playing with a ball and a pull-toy

  • Set him on the long leash and throw the ball.

  • You can have the leash free it you want to run on a big grass area.

Cuddle

  • Hi loves to cuddle and be scratched.

  • We do not allow him to lick us in the face. You set your own rules.

Go for walks or let out on long leash

How often?

  • Minimum: morning, noon, evening.

  • He can lay outside on the long leash on his own.

  • He can be inside on his own up till 4 hours.

When he pulls the leash

  • “Tillbaka!” (Come back) maybe help show him what you mean by pulling him back. When he is back at your side, say “Bra!”

  • You are the master. Use candy to encourage. And show clearly what you want of him.

  • If he behaves bad: Runs after a cat or to another dog, show that it was wrong, be a Tiger. If needed establish rank by putting him on his back.

  • Use positive encouragement as a standard. Say “Bra!” and or show with your gaze that you liked what he did.
